Oak Grove
Work is underway to renovate the county-owned buildings at 1034 Oak Grove Road in Concord to become a new nonemergency behavioral health facility.
Expected to open in late 2023 or early 2024, the Oak Grove site will house several services, offering a unique way of helping people address mental and behavioral health needs. It will also allow for people to be connected to appropriate mental and behavioral health services countywide.
Oak Grove Behavioral Health Campus
We are in the planning process to renovate the building at the current site. The general layout of the campus will remain, but the interior and exterior will be updated.
Hours of operation: 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. daily
On Site Services
- Wellness Clinic
A place that provides rapid screening, care and connection to follow-up behavioral health services. People who are not in crisis but in urgent need of behavioral health help can come to the Wellness Clinic. - Recharge Center
A place where people who have been involve with substance use can go to be assessed and have their treatment needs identified. The Recharge Center is not a sobering or detoxification center. If additional support is needed, staff will refer the person to other services. - Peer Resilience Center
A safe and welcoming place for people to receive support from trained peer staff who have lived experience in working towards personal wellness.
We are committed to working with our neighbors to address ideas and concerns about the Oak Grove – Concord site. We are hosting community workgroup meetings to have ongoing discussions about plans and progress. If you’re interested in joining, please email a3@cchealth.org.
